A Reason for the Hope

The distinctiveness and exclusiveness of the Gospel is watered down to accommodate it to the thinking of the natural man. As a result, the trumpet is sounding a very uncertain sound. Both the message and the method are often untrue to the Word of God. Thus, the non-Christian, who is versed in the philosophies of the world, has little difficulty making the servants of God look utterly foolish. If we are to present our Christian faith effectively to the non-Christian world, we must understand the distinctions between Biblical Christianity and the philosophies that govern the non-Christian’s thought.
