This is a reprint of A Confession of Faith adopted by the Philadelphia Baptist Association in 1742 and printed by Benjamin Franklin in 1743. Our text was taken from a copy reproduced in "... To Set Them in Order;" Some Influences of the Philadelphia Baptist Association Upon Baptists of America to 1814 by James L. Clark. We have tried to be faithful to the original text, but a few changes have been made to enhance ease of reading.
